Event Management

My Advanced Event Productions class planned an Alumni event at a new building on the Utah Valley University campus. As part of the logistics team, we found photographers, put together the schedule, hired the mascot, chose decorations, assisted with audio and visual, and monitored the Pixart brick by color setup. My main focus was getting different pricing from different photo booth companies and overseeing the Pixart setup before, during, and after the event. I was also able to assist in one of the classes held during the event. 

Day of Coordination

I was the day of coordinator for this event. This bride wanted to plan the wedding on her own but needed help with the setup and execution of the event. She chose the decorations and what she wanted for her wedding, then I was there to solve problems and put the event together for setup, execution, and takedown.

Catering Volunteer

For my Event Planning class, we needed to volunteer for an event. I volunteered for the Scholarship Ball and helped with the catering. You had to be fast, a good communicator and listener, and ready to make an instant change when directed.
